Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer IV-hydration in-home?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves in being discrete and convenient, offering IV infusion services at your home, office, or even poolside.
What is IV therapy?
IV stands for intravenous. By inserting a catheter - a small flexible plastic tube - directly into your vein, we can hydrate you more efficiently than drinking water alone.
Does the needle stay in my arm?
No, the needle is used for insertion of the catheter, which will remain in your vein to deliver the IV fluids.
Will it hurt?
Everyone is different but it usually feels like a small pinch when we insert the IV. The fluids may feel cold, but don't hurt.
Is it safe?
All of our blends go through a high level of testing. We work closely with our medical director to ensure each clients' health and safety are cared for.
How long does it take?
In most cases, 20 to 30 minutes.
I already take vitamins. Is an IV really better?
YES! Vitamins, minerals, and medications are absorbed better and faster through IV compared to taking them orally.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are generally non existent or very mild. They can include occasional discomfort, bruising, itching or redness at the insertion site. In the rare and unlikely event of an allergic reaction, our staff is highly trained and prepared!
How often can I get an IV?
The frequency of IV therapy is determined on a client to client basis. We take a customized approach to preventative health and wellness.
Who can benefit from IV infusions?
Everyone! From people with an active lifestyle: athletes, golfers, hikers, beach-goers, festival-goers, or someone with morning sickness, jet lag, or just looking for a quick, healthy boost!
